Charlie is just the sweetest boy - he is both people and dog friendly and right between puppy and adult age.  He's tall, but not thick, and has the softest, most beautiful two-tone fur (pics just can't show it well enough).  Even though he's young, he has a mostly calm demeanor, is housetrained, and knows sit.  Otherwise he is a little green, needing some training with walking, but he is learning a "wait" and some other manners very quickly, he's a smart boy.  He loves to be with his people, but is independent enough to just nap, chew a bone, etc., while foster mom is working from home - he doesn't require constant attention, just wants to be near you.  During the day he doesn't love the crate (for that reason), but he doesn't get into anything when chilling outside the crate when foster mom is home.  He sleeps very well in the crate at night. We think he would be great for an active family, could keep up on long walks and hikes, but does not require much physical exercise daily.  Chewing bones is his favorite, fetch is hit or miss, LOL.  And he's a big of a goof, too!  

This big softy would LOVE a home of his own, preferably with another dog to play with, but can certainly be an only dog too with someone who is home much of the day.  He hasn't spent time around children, but given his demeanor we suspect he'd be fabulous with them!
