Dog Days of Summer is San Diego County's largest dog-centric event, hosted in Cardiff-by-the-Sea by Cardiff 101 Main Street. This day-long event drew over 8,000 attendees in 2011 from all over San Diego and we anticipate nearly 10,000 people and dogs in attendance in 2012. There are over 130 vendors, a blessing of the dogs, dog contests, live music, food, an agility course, a doggie photo booth, doggie crafts, a doggie beach, a kids zone and a large silent auction.

Cancer is a disease that touches many of us, that is why Morris Animal Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure. An estimated 50 percent of all dogs will battle cancer. It is the No. 1 cause of death in dogs over the age of 2.
All dog lovers are invited to walk with their dogs to celebrate the life of their canine best friend or to walk in memory of dogs that have lost their battle with canine cancer. We will have an expo area of dog related vendors and a celebration after the walk. Sign up today and help create a healthier tomorrow for dogs everywhere! Paws in the Park

10:15 a.m.: Fun contests for you and your dog, including Paw-parazzi Parade (dress your pooch up as your favorite celebrity) and Hoosier Hounds (a basketball game for you and your dog!)
11 a.m. - noon: Demonstration by Ballistic Racers Flyball Team, entertainment, shopping, giveaways, games for people and pets, opportunity drawing and more!
