Peter (American Staffordshire Terrier)
Meet Peter. He is healthy, neutered,
about 6 years old, and has already had two owners. He truly deserves
a better life than he has had, so far (his first owner committed
suicide). Peter is an
American Staffordshire Terrier who was relinquished
by his previous (homeless) owner.
A kind person has been caring for Peter for the last
few weeks, and found him to be very friendly and trusting of people.
He loves toys, especially chew toys, is playful and very affectionate. He
was suffering from anxiety, but has calmed way down, and is finally
relaxed. Peter has proven himself to be adaptable and accepting of new environments.
Peter is a bit fearful of other dogs if he is approached
by them. He
does avoid dogs when on walks, and isn't interested in pursung
them. He rarely barks, and is a perfect gentleman.
