Foster Parents Needed!

It's The Pits is in immediate need of foster parents for both adult dogs and puppies. We will not be able to pull any additional dogs from shelters unless we can identify suitable temporary homes for them in advance. Fostering a dog is easy and very rewarding! We can find a dog to match your lifestyle (and children/other pets). If you are able to serve as a foster parent, please contact us.

Hi! Here’s the lovely Jersey Girl. 

Jersey’s favorite thing to do is go on a "pack walk" with a lot of other dogs and the volunteers as we all go out for a long walk as a group. That's when she gets to see her boyfriend Bosco. They steal kisses from each other.

Jersey has TONS of energy!! She likes to run and would be a fantastic jogging partner... but is totally content chewing on a bone at your side. Jersey’s fur is remarkable as she has wirey (but soft) long hairs along her back, on her face -- as well as GORGEOUS golden eyes. She gets along well with the other dogs at the kennel and every person she meets. She has lots of energy, but calms down very quickly! Oh, and did I mention how smart she is?? She picks up commands the same day they are introduced! Already knows "sit", "down" and "shake"! Will you be the one to love her?? She'll return it unconditionally!!
