Foster Parents Needed!

It's The Pits is in immediate need of foster parents for both adult dogs and puppies. We will not be able to pull any additional dogs from shelters unless we can identify suitable temporary homes for them in advance. Fostering a dog is easy and very rewarding! We can find a dog to match your lifestyle (and children/other pets). If you are able to serve as a foster parent, please contact us.

American Pit Bull Terrier/Lab Mix

Date of Birth: 10/4/06

This lovely girl is Glenda! She is a 3 year old spayed Pit mix who is a kind and gentle soul. She weighs 73lbs. and is slimming down more and more each day! Glenda is one of a few very special dogs who was enrolled in dog obedience school while living at the shelter, and she was a top student! She loves to go on long walks, and she walks beautifully when on a harness. Glenda is friendly with everyone she meets and already knows "sit" and has good manners. Glenda gets along well dogs. Glenda was and her handler met Victoria Stillwell and had lunch!!!
