Gentle Ben (American Pit Bull Terrier Mix)

I'm Gentle Ben and I'm a very calm, sweet, lovable boy. I love being bathed, being groomed, and getting treats. I was found wandering the streets and it was pretty scary.  I got beaten up out there by a pack of dogs and it really frightened me because  I'm a lover, not a fighter. I've recovered now, but I'm still fearful of aggressive or high energy dogs. I walk nicely on a leash and truly enjoy being with people. I will lie quietly by your side if you are talking to someone or if you are watching TV.  I really love people and would like to find a forever home with people who will love me, too.  Won't you come and meet me?
