BoscoChocolate Lab/Pit Bull TerrierDate of Birth: 6/6/09When I'm residing at the San Marcos Kennels, my favorite thing to do is go on a "pack walk" with a lot of other dogs and the volunteers as we all go out for a long walk as a group. That's when I get to see my girlfriend Jersey. We steal kisses from each other every chance we get. Sometimes, when I'm real lucky, i get weekend holidays with a volunteer dog walker. my volunteer human says I'm housetrained - that means I'm happy to use the open patio door to go outside to do my bathroom stuff -- and I'm very calm in the house. I LOVE car rides - take me with you - please! I know my commands - i can 'sit', 'stay', 'come'. Fun to me is playing with my rope toys - I'll even bring my toys to you so you can play too. but, if you're busy, I'm happy tossing my toy and chasing it all by myself. I weigh about 50lbs, i have a glossy cinnamon coat, i take treats gently from your hand and my goal is to please my human pal. Let's do a meet and greet - see you soon ....

It's The Pits is in immediate need of foster parents for both adult dogs and puppies. We will not be able to pull any additional dogs from shelters unless we can identify suitable temporary homes for them in advance. Fostering a dog is easy and very rewarding!
